because we are Soil Association symbol holders, which means that all our operations, from growing through to delivery are all subject to the exacting standards and inspection requirements of the Soil Association. "Organic also means that you are certain that no produce (not even the seeds!) contain GMO's (Genetically Modified Orgainisms)

You can be sure OUR ORGANIC PRODUCE IS AS FRESH AS POSSIBLE...
because we try to make sure that the time between picking the produce and it reaching you is as short as possible. To supplement our own produce, we buy preferentially from other local organic growers in the area. However local organic growers cannot produce everything, there aren't enough of us and bananas won't grow in our climate! - and so we buy from the orgainc wholesalers based in Herefordshire. They have an equal commitment to making sure that organic produce is as fresh as possible.

because as far as possible you are buying direct from the growers - no middle man to pay. By only buying to our customers' order, we also keep waste to a minimum. Benefiting from four and a half years experience running a "Veg-Box" Scheme in the area, we are able to run an efficient operation from which our customer will benefit through fair prices. Even so, organic produce is more expensive than conventionally chemically grown produce. This is because organic production costs are higher as organic growers work with nature rather than trying to bludgeon nature to death with chemical inputs.
